This popular Chinese video app is going to be discontinued in India!

 

A popular video app of Chinese multinational internet technology company ByteDance is about to be launched in India. According to the company, Vigo Video and Vigo Lite — these two video apps will be closed from October 31.

ByteDance has asked Vigo Video and Vigo Lite users to use TikTok, another popular app from the company, instead of AZ. Short videos can be shared on Vigo Video just like TikTok. Users share 15-second videos in the Vigo Video app. Like TikTok, there are several stickers that can be used to add music to a video via Lip Sync. The interface of the Vigo Video app is somewhat similar to that of TikTok.

It is learned that ByteDance wants to focus more on increasing the popularity of TikTok, not because of any restrictions. While TikTok has about 200 million users in India, Vigo Video has only 4 million users. So this app will be removed from India. For this, the link to download TikTok has been included in Vigo Video.
